Description
Percival Lafer, ottoman or stool, wood, leather, Brazil, 1970s
Bulky and voluptuous pouf designed by Percival Lafer in the 1970s. The seat is upholstered in olive green tufted leather, enhancing the ottoman’s bold and sturdy character. Its geometric legs curve inward and are subtly connected, creating a cohesive frame. The dark finish of the base pairs beautifully with the rich green leather.
Percival Lafer began making furniture in the early 1960s. He had the true modernist view, and wanted to bring good and affordable design to everyone. His furniture is characterized by a modern and contemporary design in addition with solid hardwoods from Brazil.
