This Italian post-modern floor lamp stands as a light sculpture that redefines the simple act of illumination through an interplay of material and movement. The lamp is composed of adjustable shades that encircle a fluorescent light source. When fully folded, light escapes through a narrow opening, producing a striking vertical beam. Both the intensity and direction of the light can be precisely controlled through the folding mechanism. A compelling example of Italian Radical design from the seventies.
