An Italian sofa from the 1950s, its shape is characteristic of postwar modern design. The armrests are striking in their design: broad, curved planes of mahogany that extend outward with a gentle flare. The seat and backrest are composed of generous cushions, upholstered in green velvet. The body is supported by short, rounded legs that lift the body just slightly from the ground.
Kindly note that the fabric is in good, used condition with signs of use. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
The mahogany type of this piece does not require an export license.
