Description
Alberto Salvati e Ambrogio Tresoldi for Saporiti, set of ten ‘Dania’ swivel chairs, fabric, chrome-plated steel, Italy, 1980s
These swivel chairs are designed by designer duo Alberto Salvati e Ambrogio Tresoldi for Saporiti in the 80s. The chairs epitomize a postmodern design comprised of a simple shaped backrest which is supported by three rods that diverge and are attached to a round frame. The upholstery is characterized by stripes executed in soft pastel colors, including pink, purple, and beige. The interplay of various shapes and textures creates a visually appealing design.
Please note that the fabric is in used condition with signs of use. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
